Roof Relief

The City of Rochester is accepting pre-applications for financial assistance for the next phase of the City's Owner-Occupant Roofing Program from August 28, 2017 and closes on September 28, 2017.  During this phase, the City will only be accepting pre-applications from senior citizen owner-occupants who have not previously filed a pre-application.  Residents may inquire with their Neighborhood Service Center (listed below) to find out if they are currently on the list of applicants.  Grant awards cover the cost of roof replacement and other related repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roof flashing and minor chimney repair.

A limited number of homeowners will be selected from each quadrant of the city during a drawing scheduled for noon on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Thomas P. Ryan R-Center, 530 Webster Ave.  Applicants do not need to be present at the drawing.  Selected residents will be notified.

Interested homeowners may submit a pre-application at their nearest Neighborhood Service Center. For more information, call your local Neighborhood Service Center.
